MADISON, Wis. - After a strong finish to the non-conference slate, the No. 7 Wisconsin women's volleyball team now looks to Big Ten play for the rest of the season, as they'll get it started with matchups against Rutgers and Iowa this upcoming weekend.

On Friday, Sept. 26, the Badgers will take on the Scarlet Knights at the UW Field House at 7:00 p.m. CT. The unit will hit the road to battle against the Hawkeyes in Iowa City, Iowa, on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 2:00 p.m. CT. Both matches will be streamed on B1G+.

Most recently, UW took down No. 15 Florida (19-25, 25-22, 25-20, 36-34) at the Kohl Center Classic—defeating the Gators for the first time in program history in the Badger State.

Outside hitter Mimi Colyer continued to be the standout on the offensive end for the Badgers, tallying a season-high in kills with 27 to power Wisconsin past Florida. Setter Charlie Fuerbringer enjoyed her strongest offensive showing of the year, earning a season-high in assists with 50 on the afternoon.

Middle blocker Carter Booth eclipsed the 500-career block mark against the Gators, as she posted a season-high on the front line with nine. As a team, the Badgers finished with a season-best 17 blocks.

Outside hitters Grace Egan and Una Vajagic both accumulated double-doubles in the process—wrapping up the main contributors in the final non-conference match of the season.

The last time Rutgers played at the UW Field House was during the 2023 season, where the Badgers earned a sweep and tied a program record for fewest points allowed in a set, as they won set two 25-4 en route to a dominant victory. UW is 17-0 all-time against the Scarlet Knights.

Wisconsin holds an eight-match winning streak over the Hawkeyes, as they have notched sweeps in all of those victories. Last year, Fuerbringer recorded her sixth double-double of the year with 32 assists and 12 digs at the UW Field House.

The Badgers will continue their early conference stretch next week, as they welcome Illinois on Thursday, Oct. 2. The match is set to start at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be televised on Big Ten Network.
