MADISON, Wis. -Â The Wisconsin women's soccer team capped off Senior Day with a 1-0 victory over Colorado, as
Adee Boer's 74th-minute goal proved enough behind a strong defensive effort.
How it Happened
First Half
Wisconsin and Colorado were evenly matched during the first half, with each team recording one shot on goal.Â
Despite several good chances, the Badgers were unable to capitalize, leaving the score tied 0-0 at the break.
Second Half
Wisconsin finally broke through in the 74th minute when senior
Adee Boer buried the lone goal of the match to put the Badgers ahead, 1-0.
Goalkeeper Drew Stover recorded a season-high five saves to earn her fourth shutout of the season and the 13th of her career. This match also marks her second consecutive clean sheet.
The Badgers controlled the second half, outshooting the Buffaloes 11-9 overall and 6-5 in shots on goal.
The last time Wisconsin was undefeated at home in non-conference play was during the 2022 season.
