Destiny Howell drops 39 points to help set a program three-point record
MADISON, Wis. - Destiny Howell's career day helped lift the Wisconsin women's basketball team (12-5, 4-2 B1G) to a 94-92 double-overtime thriller against the Oregon Ducks (14-6, 2-5 B1G).
Howell finished the day with a career-best 39-point performance, shooting 10-for-21 from the field and 10-for-16 from the three-point line. Her 10 three-pointers marked a program record for the most made in a single-game performance and helped contribute to Wisconsin's all-time program high 17 three-pointers in a single game.

Wisconsin also had itself a day from the free-throw line. Howell contributed nine from the line, helping the Badgers to a program record with 17 made as a team.
How it happened:
The Badgers opened the game in a back-and-forth battle with the Ducks, seeing six lead changes happen in the first quarter. A jumper from Daniels helped lift Wisconsin into a 15-14 advantage before the quarter closed out.
At the half, Wisconsin climbed to a 36-31 lead thanks to a strong performance from the perimeter. Shay Bollin knocked down two back-to-back three pointers to tie her career high, with the latter coming off a fast break.
Oregon took charge to enter the second half, shooting 61.5% in the third quarter to take a 52-47 lead.
Wisconsin bounced back in the fourth, embarking on a 10-0 run to start chipping away at Oregon's lead. With 32 seconds left in the fourth, Howell knocked down three consecutive free throws to cut the Ducks' lead down to three. With just 16 seconds left, Daniels knocked down a clutch three to tie the game. Howell and Daniels' performance helped fuel the Badgers' comeback, combining for 14 of the Badgers 22 points to close out the quarter.
Howell continued to show out in overtime, adding a three-pointer with five seconds left in the first session that pushed the game into double overtime. The Badger added 12 points in free basketball, to help shut down Oregon by two points.
The Badgers shot 39.4% (28-71) from the field, 45.9% (17-37) from three-point range, and 77.8% (21-27) from the free-throw line.
The Ducks finished the game shooting 46.3% (31-67) from the floor, 33.3% (10-30) from deep, and 76.9% (20-26) at the charity stripe.
