2023: Played in 36 games in her final season, starting nineteen games on the mound…with 11 wins and 12 losses, Schwartz ended the year with an ERA of 1.81 which is the seventh lowest all-time…the fifth year senior recorded three shut outs and three saves…on April 7th, 2023 Maddie Schwartz recorded just the eleventh no-hitter in program history against Purdue in a 7-0 victory…due to her successes Schwartz was named to the All-Big Ten First Team, NFCA All-Region team, and Academic All-Big Ten Team.
2022: Played in 41 games, starting 30 of them as the Badgers go-to in the mound...appeared in 213 innings on the year and ended the season with a 2.30 ERA…produced three shutouts and 130 strikeouts in the 41 games played, 19 of those being complete ones..held opponents to a .244 batting average and notched a defensive fielding percentage of .973…named to the All-Big Ten Second Team, All-Region Second Team, and Academic All-Big Ten Team.
2021: Played in 28 games and started 21 games as Wisconsin’s ace in the circle… finished the season with a 11-12 record… pitched four shutouts in the season with 156.2 innings pitched… faced over 600 batters at the plate, striking out 111 of them and holding them to a .237 batting average… notched a defensive fielding percentage of .980… pitched a season high 11 strikeouts twice in the season against Ohio State and Michigan State… pitched a marathon 13.2 inning outing versus Ohio State, setting the record for most innings pitched in a single game… pitched a one-hitter in the season opener against Penn State, leading the Badgers to a 4-0 victory...
2020: Played in eight games for the Badgers totaling 14 innings pitched in the short season… finished with 17 strikeouts and a 2.50 ERA… faced 57 batters and held them to s .220 batting average…
2019: Played in 24 games, starting in three … earned a perfect 4-0 record in her first season for the Badgers with a 1.64 ERA … struck out 31 batters, eight of them looking … held opponents to a .239 batting average … struck out season-high four batters against Princeton (3/3) … earned her first career shutout against Lamar (2/8)
High school: Played for Joe Coenen at Chanhassen High School and the Midwest Speed, coached by Sean Hall, Nat Wagner and former UW assistant coach Missy Beseres … placed fifth in the PGF Platinum National Tournament with the Midwest Speed … was a two-time Metro West Conference champion (2014, 2017), two-time Section 2AAAA champion (2016, 2017), 2015 Section 2AAA champion and 2016 AAAA state champion in addition to placing third in the 2017 AAAA state tournament … earned all-conference honorable mention honors three times (2015, 2016, 2017) and 2015 All-Section honors … broke the school record for most strikeouts in a game with 17 … was a Minnesota Ms. Softball finalist in 2018 … earned academic letters as a junior and senior … was named to the Dean's list as a freshman, sophomore and junior … also played basketball her freshman year
