Reason for choosing UW-Madison: I choose UW-Madison because it was somewhere where I knew I would be extremely happy and comfortable on and off the water. The unmatched academics and the ability to be apart of such a historic program was a huge appeal to me.
What Wisconsin Rowing means to James: Wisconsin Rowing means being apart of something that is so much bigger than just myself. It means coming to practice every single day with the only expectation from me is that I bring my 100 percent devoted self to every moment while I am there. Finally, it mean getting to represent Wisconsin athletics every single day for the rest of my life, no matter where I end up.
