2022: Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 10)
2024 Season: Appeared in three games at safety for the Badgers… forced a fumble and made first tackle of season against Purdue (Oct. 5) … added a pass deflection in the Purdue contest
2023 Season: Played in 11 games, making six starts at safety ... earned second letter as a Badger … logged a tackle in 10 of his 11 games … knocked down three passes … made three tackles in four games, including the ReliaQuest Bowl versus No. 13 LSU (Jan. 1)
2022 Season: Played in 13 games, making 12 starts at safety … made 55 tackles, the T-4th most on the team, and added 3.0 TFLs, 2.0 sacks, two interceptions and three pass breakups … recorded his first career INT in Wisconsin’s win over Northwestern (10/8) and added another in the second half … became the first UW defender to grab multiple INTs in the same game since Colin Wilder in 2021 … Latu was the 7
th Badger to record multiple INTs in the same game since 2010 … tallied a career-high 13 tackles at Michigan State (10/15) … Notched his first career sack vs. Washington State (9/10) … Made five or more tackles in five games
2021 (at Utah): Saw action in all 14 games, with one start at safety at USC ... tallied 19 tackles on the year and three pass breakups ... was instrumental in win over USC with a team-best 10 tackles, plus a breakup ... earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors
2020 (at Utah): Played in all five games, appearing on special teams ... made four tackles
High School:
- Three-star recruit by 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN out of Saint Louis School
- 2019 first-team all-state and all-ILH as a senior, also earning first-team all-state as a junior
- Two-time ILH Open All-Star, earning first-team honors as a senior
- Invited to the 2020 Polynesian Bowl
- Saint Louis School went undefeated from 2017-2019, winning the Open Division State Championship four-straight seasons
- Also participated in track and field, finishing third in the state in the triple jump in both 2018 and 2019
