2016-17: Rowed in the open eight that placed sixth at the 2016 Milwaukee River Challenge (Sept. 17) … also place seventh in an open four at Milwaukee … helped the novice collegiate eight to second place at Head of the Rock (Oct. 9) … rowed with a four at Head of the Rock as well, placing third

High School: Rowed four years … took first (2016) and second (2014) at New York State Championships in the open weight eight … two-time second-place finisher (2013, 2015) at New York State Championships in lightweight eight … elected captain senior year … raced at the 2013 U.S. Rowing Youth Nationals in the lightweight eight … competed in the 2014 and 2016 U.S. Rowing Youth Nationals in the open weight eight

Personal: Parents are Amy and David Mesmer … has two sisters, Abbey and Libby … intended major is neurobiology
