Awards: Academic All-Big Ten (2018)

2018-19: Rowed three seat and placed 16th overall with the varsity eight at NCAA championships (May 31-Jun 2)...sat three seat in the varsity eight to help boat place fifth at Big Ten championships (May 19)…rowed in three seat of the varsity eight and placed second behind No. 7 Princeton while defeating No. 14 Rutgers and Columbia at the Princeton Regatta (April 27) ... sat four seat for the varsity eight at the Big Ten Double Dual against No. 13 Iowa and No. 20 Indiana (April 13) ... raced in four seat with the varsity eight at the Pac-12 Invite, defeating No. 11 USC and dropping races to No. 1 Cal and No. 3 Stanford (March 30-31) ... sat three seat with the varsity eight and placed second at the Cardinal Invitational (March 17)

2017-18: Sat three seat and placed 15th with the varsity four at the NCAA championships (May 26) ... raced bow with the varsity four and placed fourth at the Big Ten championships (May 13) ... sat bow with the varsity four that finished first at Princeton/Syracuse (April 28) ... raced bow and placed fifth with the varsity four at the Clemson Invitational (April 14) ... sat bow and placed first with the varsity four at the Frozen/Sunshine Regatta (March 31) ... rowed seven seat and placed second with the second varsity eight at the Cardinal Invitational (March 18) ... 2018 Academic All-Big Ten Honoree

2016-17: Placed second in two races with the novice eight at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/8) … rowed the club four to second place at the Head of the Charles (10/22)  … raced with a varsity eight at the Milwaukee River Challenge (9/17)

High School: Rowed five years and earned four varsity letters … attended the US rowing development camp in 2013 … placed eighth at Youth Nationals as bow of a pair junior year of high school 

Personal: Parents are Niki and Brian Grose … has a twin sister, Jessica 

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: “Because I’ve lived in Portland my entire life, I wanted to branch out and see a different part of the United States. I immediately fell in love with UW-Madison. Its fantastic reputation of both the academic and rowing program combined with the city and environment of Madison sold me!”

What Wisconsin rowing means to you: “The rowing program challenges me every day. After visiting, I instantly realized that the team dynamic was unique. Our team is like a family. We support and take care of each other no matter what, and as a result we have a fast, competitive, and positive team environment that allows all the women on our team to work hard and have fun.”
