Bill Nagy

  • Title
    Graduate Assistant - Offense
Former Wisconsin offensive lineman Bill Nagy returns to his alma mater for the 2015 seasons as a quality control assistant working with the Badgers’ O-line.

A three-year letterwinner for the Badgers, Nagy earned All-Big Ten honorable mention as a senior in 2010 when he contributed to UW’s Big Ten championship and Rose Bowl berth as part of a deep and talented offensive line that produced six NFL draft picks. For his efforts, which saw Nagy spend time at center, guard and even tight end, he earned UW’s Wayne Souza Coaches Appreciation Award.

Despite not being a starter for the Badgers down the stretch of his senior season, Nagy was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2011 NFL Draft and started four games at guard as an NFL rookie. He later signed with the Detroit Lions before injuries put a premature end to his career.

Nagy spent the 2014 season as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Pittsburgh, working under current UW strength and conditioning coach Ross Kolodziej.

An Academic All-Big Ten selection, Nagy graduated from UW in 2010 with a degree in agricultural business management.
