Wisconsin Badgers

Mike Carens is in his first season as a recruiting assistant with the Wisconsin football program in 2020.

Carens spent the previous three years working with the Badgers in various capacities while attending UW as a student. During that time, he was an important contributor to the efforts of UW's team video staff, rising to the role of lead student assistant. He also spent two seasons assisting the Badgers' recruiting staff in identifying prospective student-athletes and providing data analysis, among other duties.

Carens, who graduated from UW in 2019 with degrees in economics and Spanish, also worked as a data science intern for Zcruit before joining the Badgers' staff full-time.
