Paul Meunier is in his third season as a quality control assistant for recruiting at Wisconsin in 2017, providing broad support to the Badgers’ recruiting efforts.

Meunier came to UW following his time as a high school teacher and football coach in the state of Florida. He spent six seasons as an assistant football coach and operations director at Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, also serving as the school’s head track coach.

He helped Dwyer claim the Class 5A state championship in 2009, when the school was ranked No. 3 nationally, and the Class 7A title in 2013. Dwyer also reached the state semifinals in 2010 and 2011 and produced 40 players that were offered college scholarships during Meunier’s tenure.

At Dwyer, he coached Matt Elam, who went on to become a first-round NFL draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens; Julian Whigham, who went on to be a multi-year starter at Syracuse before signing with the Buffalo Bills; Clinton Stephens, who started as a true freshman at Bowling Green; and Jarius Adams, who started as a true freshman at Rutgers.  

Meunier served as head football coach at Santaluces High School in Lantana, Florida, in 2008 following a three-year stint as an assistant football coach, assistant wrestling coach and head track coach at Jensen Beach High School. 

Meunier’s coaching career began in Wisconsin, with positions as an assistant track coach at Waukesha South and North high schools before a four-year run as an assistant football, wrestling and track coach at Kettle Moraine High School.

Meunier is a 2002 graduate of Carroll College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and was a linebacker for three years before a neck injury ended his playing career.

Meunier and his girlfriend, Shauna, have a daughter, Alexsandra, and a son, Jase.
