Kat Vosters enters her fourth season as the director of basketball operations for men’s basketball in 2017-18, her ninth with the program overall. Vosters also spent one year as a program assistant and four seasons as a team manager for the Badgers.

"Retaining Kat was essential to what we want to accomplish," Greg Gard said after assuming the head coaching title in March of 2016. "She has been a tremendous asset in my transition and her professionalism and expertise with our program helps keep everything running smoothly. She brings a valuable skill set and the character that makes Wisconsin basketball so successful."

In her three seasons in a full-time capacity as program assistant and director of operations, UW has earned three straight NCAA tournament appearances including back-to-back trips to the Final Four and the program’s first appearance in the national championship game since 1941. In her current role, Vosters is responsible for coordinating the team's travel and calendar as well as managing the operations budget. Vosters also handles outside requests of the coaching staff, acts as the staff liaison with the Badger Basketball Boosters and helps with the planning of the Wisconsin Boys Basketball Summer Camps.

Prior to serving as the program assistant during the 2013-14 season, Vosters handled the responsibilities of a lead manager during her junior and senior years. A native of Fitchburg, Wis., Vosters earned her bachelor’s degree from the Wisconsin School of Journalism & Mass Communication in 2013, while also earning a degree in Communication Arts and a certificate in Gender and Women's Studies.
