Elijah Gray arrives in Madison as a transfer from Temple, where he averaged 9.0 points and 3.8 rebounds across 25 games. He began his career at Fordham, playing 51 games in two seasons with the Rams. The Charlotte native played high school basketball at Hargrave Millitary Academy, earning National Prep Second-Team in his senior season.
