A redshirt sophomore, Riley Dearring enters his third year in the UW program looking to bring depth to the Badgers backcourt. The Minnetonka, Minnesota, native appeared in 15 games a year ago, hitting 3-of-7 attempts from 3-point range. A long, athletic wing who can play multiple perimeter positions, Dearring has added over 10 pounds to his 6-foot-5 frame since arriving on campus. A Minnesota Mr. Basketball finalist, Dearring’s father, Darren, played basketball at the University of Virginia.
