Zachary Choo

Zachary Choo joined the Wisconsin women’s basketball staff as the team's video coordinator in May 2022.
 
 “We’re so excited to welcome Zachary to Wisconsin and the Badger women’s basketball family,” said head coach Marisa Moseley. “As we went through the hiring process, it became clear that he embodied the values of our program. His work ethic, creativity and desire to grow will allow him to make a meaningful impact on our program. Please help me welcome Zachary to Madison!”
 
Choo comes to Wisconsin after serving as the graduate assistant/interim video coordinator for the Dayton women’s basketball team. While with the Flyers, Choo worked with the coaching staff to organize and cut game film for opponent and team scouting. He was in charge of the construction of clips for team film sessions and highlight packages as well as providing statistical breakdowns. Choo also assisted the Dayton coaches in recruiting and created graphics for social media and recruit mailings.

As a student, Choo spent three years as a student manager for the Dayton women’s basketball team.  He served as the head manager, supervising a team of six managers to fulfill the group’s responsibilities during practices and games. Choo also assisted with organizing the Flyers’ equipment for road trips and facilitated practices and shootarounds for opposing teams.
 
A 2021 graduate of Dayton with a degree in sport management as well as a minor in business administration, Choo is also a co-founder and graphic designer for CommittedGraphix, creating graphics and highlight videos for student-athletes.
