2017 Outdoor: Placed seventh in the shot put and 10th in discus at the Big Ten Championships (5/12-14) with throws of 50-5 1/4 (15.37m) and 162-1 (49.41m) ... threw season bests in the discus and shot put, winning both events with marks of 171-6 (52.28m) and 51-1 (15.57m) at the Wisconsin Alumni Classic (5/5) ... won the discus with a throw of 163-5 (49.82m) at the Drake Alternative meet (4/29) ... threw 50-0 (15.24m) in the invitational shot put and 166-5 (50.72m) in the invitational discus at the Triton Invitational (4/21-22) ... was runner-up in the shot put with a toss of 50-0 (15.24m) and placed fourth in the discus with a throw of 162-10 (49.63m) at the Jim Click Shootout (4/8) ... finished fourth in the discus at the Aztec Invite (3/24-25) with a throw of 166-4 (50.71m)

2016 Outdoor: At the NCAA West Regional (5/27-28), finished 31st in the shot put with a heave of 49-5 (15.06m) while placing 33rd in the discus with a distance of 156-8 (47.77m) ... Placed sixth in the shot put at the Big Ten Championships (5/13-15) with a PR toss of 51-9 1/4 and took eighth in this discus with a mark of 162-4 ... Earned second place finishes in the discus with a toss of 168-3 and the shot put with a personal-best toss of 50-9 1/2 at the Wisconsin Twilight (5/6) ... Finished seventh in the shot put with a toss of 47-10 (14.58m) and ninth in the discus throw with a heave of 165-9 (50.53m) at the Triton Invitational (4/23) ... took fourth in the shot put with a new personal best of 48-10 1/4 (14.89m), also finished fifth in the discus with a toss of 165-1 (50.31m) at the Spec Towns Invitational (4/8-9) ... 2015 Outdoor: Redshirt season ... Competed for Wisconsin and placed 12th in the discus throw at the USA Junior Championship (6/25) with a heave of 147-9 (45.03m) ... Competed unattached and finished fifth in the shot put with a heave of 48-6 3/4 (14.80m) and third in the discus throw with a toss of 175-1 (53.38m) at the Wisconsin Twilight (5/8) ... Competed unattached in all three throwing events at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative (4/26) and won the shot put with a heave of 48-3 1/2 (14.72m), won the discus throw with a toss of 158-1 (48.19m), and placed fourth in the hammer throw with a heave of 146-0 (44.50m)
2015 Indoor: Redshirt season ... Competed unattached and finished second in the shot put with a heave of 50-9 1/4 (15.47m) at the Red and White Open (2/20) ... High School
Named the 2014 Wisconsin Track Coaches Association Female Track Athlete of the Year... claimed her third-straight Gatorade Wisconsin Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year Award ... set the Wisconsin state record in the discus in 2014 with a throw of 169-2 ... won eight individual state titles during her career, setting the state meet record in the discus with a throw of 161-5 in 2014 and the shot put with a heave of 49-1 1/2 in 2013 ...in her senior and junior season, Blahnik won every meet she competed in ... four-time Packerland Conference champion in the discus and shot put .. also played volleyball and basketball.
Personal
Parents are Dean and Terri Blahnik...has three siblings, Alex, Zach and Bobbi...her sister, Alex, competed in track and field for the Wisconsin Lutheran College from 2008-10 and her brother, Zach, currently competes in track and field for the University of South Alabama...major is elementary education.
