High School
As a senior held school records and was sectional champion in the 800 meters, and both 4x400 and 4x800 meter relays … placed second in the 100 meters and 800 meters and first in the 400 meters at conference … finished 10th in the 800 meters, 11th in the 4x400 relay, and sixth in the 4x800 meter relay at state … junior year held the school record in the 4x200 meter relay, placed third at conference in the 400 and 200 meters, and second in the long jump … at state finished ninth in the 4x800 and 20th in the 4x200 … sophomore year was sectional champion in the 4x400 and second at conference in the 200 meters … placed 14th in the 400 meters and sixth in the 4x400 meter relay at state … freshman year finished first in the 4x400 meter relay and second in the 200 and 400 meters at the conference meet … at state placed 19th in the 200 meters … also was a two-year letter-winner on the basketball team that was conference champs those two years … graduated first in class out of 340 students with a 4.0 GPA
