Women's Golf Signs Dahl in Early Signing Period

Jeana Dahl of Fargo, N.D. signed a national letter of intent to enroll at the University of Wisconsin during the fall of 2005, second-year head coach Todd Oehrlein announced today.
As a member of South High School's National Honor Society chapter, Dahl brings an excellent mixture of academic and athletic achievement.
Dahl recently finished a distinguished high school career, winning the North Dakota State High School championship in 2002 (79-76=155) and 2004 (66-76=142) while placing second in 2003. Dahl's 142-stroke performance at the 2004 state meet set the state tournament record. She also received All-State honors each season of her high school career, from 2001 to 2004.
The 2004 Fargo City Women's Champion (72-77-73=222) comes to Wisconsin with playing experience outside of high school, earning a PGA Junior Series victory in Detroit, Mich. this summer. Dahl has qualified for the USGA Jr. Girls Tour in 2002 and 2004.
