  • The Badgers are 6-5 vs. Iowa since the Heartland Trophy was introduced into the rivalry in 2004.
  • The road team has won each of the last six games in the series between Iowa and Wisconsin.
  • Wisconsin registered its eighth win in the last nine games away from Camp Randall Stadium, dating back to last season. The Badgers also won for the 12th time in their last 14 Big Ten road games.
  • Wisconsin has won 12 of its last 13 rivalry games with a trophy on the line, dating back to the 2010 season.
  • Over its last 100 Big Ten games (since the beginning of the 2004 season), the Badgers have owned a record of 69-31 (.690), the second-best winning percentage in the Big Ten.

  • The Badgers' defense limited Iowa to just 236 yards of total offense, the Hawkeyes' second-lowest output of the season (had 231 yards vs. North Dakota State on Sept. 17). The 236 yards is the lowest for a UW Big Ten opponent since limiting Northwestern to 209 yards on Nov. 21, 2015.

  • UW did not commit a penalty in the game, marking the second time this season the Badgers have been flag free in a game (also vs. Georgia State on Sept. 17). Wisconsin entered the game averaging just 3.7 penalties per game, which is tied for the Big Ten lead and ranks No. 5 nationally.
  • Iowa went just 2-for-13 on third downs. On the season, Wisconsin opponents are just 22-for-89 (24.7%) on third down this season. The Badgers entered the game ranked sixth in the FBS in third-down defense.
