Wisconsin Head Coach Greg Gard
Opening Statement:
"Well, like I told the team, I'm happy for them from the standpoint of coming off finals and coming into the holidays, they're antsy about getting to be with their families – doing that later tonight or traveling tonight. Coming off finals, these type of games, specifically when the score gets lopsided, it can become very sloppy and they didn't allow that to happen. That's a testament to them that they stayed disciplined and focused on the things that make us good. That's up and down the lineup, that's one through 17, even the guys that were in the last two minutes I thought did a very good job of adhering to what we wanted to do with every single possession.

"(I'm) happy for them, and as I've said to them privately, the mountain gets a lot steeper (heading into Big Ten Conference play). The grade is going to go up considerably from here on out."

On the way the team started off the game after finals week:
"I thought we practiced well yesterday. The one thing, I think Wednesday we did a simulated game and it wasn't a complete 40 minutes, but it was 25 or 28, something like that. I think that helped, getting back and we were a little sluggish in that. Much like coming off the Maui flight, that layoff and we practiced and did some conditioning and shooting and it wasn't the same as the competition. I think the competition on Wednesday helped us be a little more sharp tonight."

Senior Vitto Brown
On being more active tonight on the glass and starting conference play next week:
"I was just getting tired of being 6-8 and in good shape and not getting any rebounds. I just felt like I was kind of useless for the team in that regard. I wanted to make a mark on the game. That was my main focus heading into the game was to try to crash the glass a little bit more. I think that went pretty well. As for the team heading into Big Ten (play), couldn't be happier. I think we're in a good position right now. I think that was a good game to kind of get our legs moving again after that finals break that we had. I'm definitely excited and I know Rutgers is going to be a good challenge for us."

Freshman D'Mitrik Trice
On hitting his shots:
"It definitely was nice to knock down some shots finally, but it's hard to call it a slump the way I was shooting before. I just had to stay with the confidence I've always had and knock down my first shot and just got rolling from there."

Florida A&M Head Coach Byron Samuels
Opening statement:
"Well, Wisconsin's a good team. Greg (Gard) and his staff have done a great job of assembling a lot of good pieces. They've got guys who can really, really pass the ball. They move the ball real well. They really shot the ball from the 3-point line very well tonight. They've done that all year long. They're a good basketball team. I think they'll make a deep run in postseason play. If they can find that one guy who can just sort of carry them when there's a sputter, then I think they can make a big, deep run – Final Four run, quite frankly. They're a good team, good staff, a class organization, so it was a great opportunity for our guys to come up here and play."
