COLUMBUS, Inc. -- With temperatures hovering around 35 degrees the winds gusting to 20 mph, the Hoosier Intercollegiate at Otter Creek was shortened Saturday from 36-holes to 18. UW was 13th with a 17-over 305 in the miserable conditions. The tourmament will conclude with 18 holes on Sunday.
Purdue leads the way with a 2-over par 291 followed by Marquette and Ball State with 293. Valparaiso's Peter Webb and Ryan Porter of IUPUII both managed one of nine under par rounds with a 2-under 70 on the 7,199-yard Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Indiana.
UW was led by Eddie Wajda and Michael Abrahamson with a 3-over par 75. Jordan Hahn was a stroke back followed by Brett Robinson with 79 and Matt Ross had 81.
