CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Poor weather has forced the cancellation of Wisconsin softball's final game against Illinois in Champaign. The Badgers were scheduled to play the Illini at 1 p.m. on Sunday to close out the three-game series.
The two squads will end in a series split after UW (29-13 overall, 8-11 Big Ten) shut out UI (35-12, 13-4), 3-0 on Saturday afternoon behind an impressive game from freshman
Kaitlyn Menz.
The Badgers return to Goodman Diamond for a 4 p.m. contest against Northern Illinois on Tuesday.
