Wisconsin was in control from the opening tap and jumped out to its largest lead — an 11-point cushion — when Khalil Iverson's thunderous dunk made it 55-44 with 9:59 remaining.
The Badgers would get just two baskets the rest of the way, however, and the Huskers rallied with to take the lead for good when a Palmer layup made it 60-58 with 4:35 to go.
Iverson finished with 13 points and Brevin Pritzl added nine for the Badgers (10-13, 3-7).
