MADISON, Wis. — No. 16 Wisconsin will wrap up non-conference play at Western Kentucky on Saturday in Bowling Green, Kentucky. UW claimed a narrow 81-80 win over WKU last season at the Kohl Center.
Up next, UW will resume Big Ten Conference action against Minnesota on Jan. 3 at the Kohl Center. Wisconsin has won 8 straight over the Gophers and 7 in a row at home.

Ethan Happ recently became the 15th player in Big Ten history with 1,000 career boards. With 1,771 points, he has moved into 5th place on Wisconsin's all-time scoring chart. The Preseason AP All-American leads the nation in double-doubles (9 in 12 games) and ranks among the Big Ten's top 3 in scoring (19.2 ppg), rebounds (10.6 rpg) and assists (5.0 apg).

4. SECOND-HALF SUCCESS:Â Wisconsin is averaging 40.1 points in the second half of games this season, compared to 35.8 ppg in the first half. The Badgers are outscoring opponents 481-377 in the second half, for an average margin of 8.7 points per game. UW is shooting 49.9% from the field after intermission and averaging a mere 4.0 turnovers in the second half.
