Badgers add talent to 2018-19 signing class

Ahuja joins UW as third member of signing class
MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin women's golf head coach Todd Oehrlein announced Thursday that Riya Ahuja will attend UW and play golf for the Badgers starting in the fall of 2018.
"We're excited to have Riya joining us," Oehrlein said. "In addition to being an experienced and talented player, she's also an excellent student. I'm confident that Riya will do a great job at Wisconsin and I look forward to having her join us next fall."
A native of Singapore, Ahuja attends the Singapore American School. Sha has had global success, winning the 2016 A' Division - Mizuno Laguna National Junior Golf Championship, the 2016 Golfweek Midwest Invitational in Lemon Illinois, and finishing 4th place at the 2017 Warren MST Amateur Golf Championship in Singapore.Â
Ahuja was also ranked No. 1 (under 13) in the Indian Golf Union Order of Merit and represented India at the Evian Championship Juniors Cup at Evian Les Bains, France in 2014. Currently the captain of her high school golf team, Ahuja won the Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asia Schools (IASAS) tournament.
