Evanston, Ill. – Heading south to Northwestern University for the first of four road matches to close out the Wisconsin women's tennis season, it was a spoiled Saturday for the Badgers.
Wisconsin (2-6 Big Ten, 8-12 overall) was shutout, 7-0, by the No. 12 ranked Wildcats, who remain undefeated in conference play (16-4, 9-0).
Sophomore
Michelle Linden was the lone Badger to take her opponent three sets, before losing the tiebreaker set, 10-4.
The Wildcats' ranked opponents continued their dominance Saturday, picking up victories in the No. 1 and No. 2 singles positions and the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles positions.
Up next: UW stays in Illinois to take on the No. 14 Illini on Sunday, April 15. The match is scheduled for Noon p.m. (CT).
