FORT WORTH, Texas – Wisconsin women's tennis' Sara Castellano took home hardware at the ITA Summer Nationals as the fifth-year senior won the women's single draw on Tuesday.

A native of Carmagnola, Italy, Castellano defeated Florida's Victoria Emma 6-1, 6-4 in the final of the women's single tournament.

That wasn't the only piece of hardware that Castellano earned as her and sophomore Lexi Keberle finished runner-up in the doubles draw. The Badger duo fell 8-5 in the championship tilt to Nina Khmelnitckaia and Janet Koch of Kansas.

Castellano earned an automatic spot in the singles draw at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships this fall in Pacific Palisades, California while Castellano and Keberle also qualified for doubles at the prestigious tournament.

Keberle also competed in singles action at ITA Summer Nationals as the West Bend, Wisconsin, native won her first two matches before falling in the round of 16.
