MADISON, Wis. — Following a loss to Richmond on Monday, the Wisconsin men's basketball team will take on New Mexico in the consolation game of the Roma Legends Classic in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Tuesday at 4 p.m. (CT) on ESPN2.
The Badgers have played in a non-conference November tournament 13 of the last 14 years, going 23-11 (.676) in such games since 2005.
In his fifth season at the helm,
Greg Gard has led the Badgers to a mark of 84-49 (.632) overall, the third-highest win percentage in program history. Under Gard, UW has tallied four wins over top-five teams, the most in the Big Ten during that span. UW has seven wins over AP Top 10 teams (7-8, .467).

Richmond 62, Wisconsin 52
- Wisconsin dropped a 62-52 decision to Richmond in the semifinals of the 2019 Roman Legends Classic on Monday night.
- UW out-rebounded the Spiders, 36-31, but had 15 turnovers and shot just 34.0% from the floor (7-for-27 from 3-point range).
- The Badgers led 47-45 with 9:56 remaining, but Richmond closed on a 17-5 run.
- Nate Reuvers led Wisconsin with 17 points and seven rebounds. He has scored in double figures in all six games this season, leading the Badgers in three of six contests.
- Kobe King finished with 10 points and four rebounds.
- D'Mitrik Trice tallied five points, seven rebounds and five assists with just one turnover.
