MADISON Wis. – After a hard-fought battle hosting the No. 8 seed Purdue, the No. 1 Wisconsin women's soccer team was eliminated from the Big Ten Tournament after a 1-0 loss.
The first half was dominated by the Badgers (14-3-2), outshooting Purdue (8-8-3), 7-2.
However, in the 44th minute, the Boilermakers struck the lone goal of the game to take a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, Wisconsin had a 9-3 shot advantage but weren't able to to find the back of the net at the McClimon Soccer Complex.

- UW outshot Purdue, 16-5, and had a 7-3 shots on goal advantage.
- Sunday's setback was Wisconsin's first home loss of the 2019 season.
- Jordyn Bloomer has only allowed five goals at home this year. She logged two saves today.
