Five things to know: Badgers finish fall season in Florida

Wisconsin travels to Florida State for final fall test
MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin women's tennis teams heads to Florida for the FSU All-Conference Showdown, this Friday through Sunday, in Tallahassee, Florida.
1. WRAPPING UP TUSCALOOSA: Last weekend, the Badgers traveled to Tuscaloosa, Ala. to compete in the Roberta Alison Fall Classic. Top performers include Miruna Tudor advancing to the championship round in her double bracket and Antonela Stoica winning the consolation championship in he singles bracket.
2. RECAPPING THE FALL: After making the NCAA tournament last spring, the Badgers have looked to build on their success from the 2019 spring season during the fall campaign. Wisconsin has seen great growth and contribution in their experiences upperclassmen including Melissa Pick and Christina Zordani, while also seeing encouraging additions from newcomers Antonela Stoica, Charmaine Seah and Miruna Tudor.
3. ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT: The Florida State All-Conference Showdown is a tournament meant to maximize exposure to some of the top teams in each conference to prepare for the season. Wisconsin will be the lone Big Ten team represented in the tournament while being exposed to teams from the other power five conferences and many more.

5. UP NEXT: As Wisconsin finishes up their fall season, the team will take a break from competition before starting back up in January. The team's spring season will start with the Metroplex Mania Tournament in Dallas, Texas, Jan. 10-12, before heading to Columbia, S.C. for the ITA Kickoff Weekend, Jan. 25-26.
