MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin men's basketball team rings in the new year with a matchup against Rider on Tuesday at the Kohl Center. Tip is set for 6 p.m. (CT) on BTN.

Since the building opened on Jan. 17, 1998, the Badgers are 303-51 (.856) all-time at the Kohl Center, the 10th-highest win percentage among NCAA Divison I venues.

2) BATTLE TESTED: The Badgers rank No. 34 in the NET Rankings (thru games Dec. 29), which also ranks Wisconsin as having the 9th-toughest schedule in the nation. Wisconsin earned wins vs. Marquette and at Tennessee, both of which were NCAA tournament teams last season. UW's losses this season have come against teams with a combined record of 53-12.

3) RELIABLE REUVERS: Junior forward Nate Reuvers leads UW averaging 14.7 points per game this season. Reuvers has scored in double figures in 10 of 12 games and has matched his career high (22 points) on two different occassions this season. Reuvers has scored 20+ six times in his career, three of those coming this season alone.

4) PRITZL DAY: Brevin Pritzl tallied a season-high 17 points in UW's road victory at Tennessee, including a season-high 4 triples. The De Pere native has had major contributions off the bench for the Badgers this season, averaging 7.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

5) SCHOOL HISTORY: The Badgers' 68-48 win at Tennessee is the largest, non-conference, true road win over a major conference team in school history. UW's previous record was a 16-point advantage in an 82-66 win over LSU on Dec. 19, 1953.
