MADISON, Wis. -Â After an always-competitive Big Ten dual season, No. 16 Wisconsin (8-6, 3-6 B1G) finishes out the regular season with a non-conference dual against SIUE (2-11, 1-6 MAC) on Feb. 24 at 12 p.m.
1. LAST WEEK: Wisconsin had a tough outing against the No. 3 Iowa Hawkeyes last Sunday, losing the dual 35-2. The lone win for the Badgers was a big one, as freshman No. 8 Trent Hillger earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over No. 6 Sam Stoll at heavyweight. A record crowd of 4,165 were in attendance at the UW Field House.2. BIG TENS ON THE HORIZON: Sunday's dual will be the last competitive action for the Badgers before the Big Ten Tournament the following weekend. Wisconsin's lineup on Sunday will likely be very close to the group that will compete at the Big Ten Tournament.
3. SENIOR DAY: The Badgers will honor three seniors who have made great contributions to the team over their time here: Ryan Christensen, Jens Lantz and Jared Scharenbrock. A presentation for the trio will begin right before the match starts.
4. SUNDAY KIDS DAY: In addition to the Senior Day festivities, the first 250 fans 12 and under will receive a free Bucky Badger back pack, courtesy of Sunday Kids Days, presented by Kohl's.
5. NEED TO KNOW: Sunday's dual will be streamed live on BTN Plus ($) and FloWrestling ($). Live stats can be found on TrackWrestling, and fans can follow along with @BadgerWrestling on Twitter for live updates.
