2019-20 WISCONSIN MEN'S HOCKEY SCHEDULE

MADISON, Wis. – The 2019-20 Wisconsin men's hockey schedule is officially out. The Big Ten released the schedule Wednesday, showing Wisconsin with a stacked lineup of non-conference and Big Ten contests for their 34 game regular season.
Dates are subject to change. Times will be released closer to the season.
Boston College hosts Wisconsin for its 2019-20 season opener on Oct. 11 followed by a second road game at Merrimack on Oct. 12.
The Badgers then take on the two-time reigning NCAA champions Minnesota Duluth on Oct. 18-19 in their home opener at the Kohl Center.
Fourteen of their regular-season games take place against five of the 2018 NCAA tournament teams including a home weekend against Clarkson on Oct. 25-26.
Wisconsin plays its first conference series at Penn State on Nov. 1-2, but then kicks off a 20-game run against Big Ten teams starting the Nov. 15-16 weekend at home with 2019 NCAA tourney competitor Notre Dame.
Wisconsin visits border-rival Minnesota first on Nov. 22-23 and then plays host to the Gophers at the Kohl Center on Jan. 31-Feb. 1 for a home-series rematch.
In back-to-back weekends before winter semester break, the Badgers take on rivals from across Lake Michigan playing Michigan at home on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 30-Dec.1 and Michigan State away on Dec. 6-7.
UW jumps back into action to start 2020 with a home weekend against Ohio State on Jan. 10-11.
The Badgers play their last home game Feb. 21-22 against Arizona State, another 2019 NCAA tournament competitor, before closing out the regular-season with a series on Feb. 28-29 at Ohio State.
For the third consecutive season, the Big Ten tournament will last three weeks at campus sites beginning March 6-8 with the first round playoffs and ending March 22 with the championship game.
The 2020 NCAA Frozen Four will take place April 9 and 11 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
Wisconsin welcomes the return of 19 skaters from last years squad, including a pair of all-league defensemen in captain
Wyatt Kalynuk and
K'Andre Miller. It also brings in one of the nation's top recruiting classes that potentially includes three first-round NHL draft picks among its ranks.
