MADISON, Wis. — With last Sunday's game at Penn State postponed, Wisconsin returns after a seven-day layoff to host Indiana on Thursday. Tip is scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT) on FS1.

The Badgers are 17-1 all-time against Indiana at the Kohl Center, with wins in their last 17 meetings.

THE STARTING FIVE

1) 2020 WASN'T ALL BAD: Wisconsin went 22-7 in the 2020 calendar year, the most wins and best win percentage among Big Ten teams. UW's 22 wins tied for 3rd most in the nation among major conference teams. Only Kansas (26) and Baylor (24) won more games in the calendar year of 2020.

2) TOP WINS: The Badgers have three wins over AP Top-25 teams this season, joining Gonzaga (4) and Kansas (4) as the only teams in the country that can make that claim (as of Jan. 1).

3) D-FENSE! D-FENSE! The Badgers have stifled opponents defensively, leading the Big Ten allowing only 60.6 ppg this season and ranked second in field goal percentage defense (38.7%). UW ranks 8th in the country in Ken Pomeroy's Adjusted Defensive Efficiency. In fact, Wisconsin is one of just two teams to rank among the nation's top 10 in both offensive (9th) and defensive (8th) efficiency according to KenPom, joined by only Baylor.

4) BADGERS DON'T BEAT THEMSELVES: Wisconsin ranks 2nd in the nation averaging only 8.2 turnovers per game. Dating back to last season, UW has committed 11 or fewer turnovers in 28 consecutive games.

5) TAKE THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD: Wisconsin is renowned for its home success, but the Badgers have been good on the road recently. Since Greg Gard took over as head coach, the Badgers are 1 of just 4 Big Ten teams with 24+ true road wins.
