Badgers head to Ohio for ITA Midwest Regionals

Ty Tucker Tennis Center will serve as host site for tournament
COLUMBUS, OHIO — The Wisconsin women's tennis team travels to Ohio this week to compete at the ITA Midwest Regionals. This year's tournament, hosted by Ohio State, runs Friday through Monday.
The Badgers will be sending singles and doubles competitors, along with DePaul, Illinois, University of Illinois-Chicago, Illinois State, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio State, and Toledo.
Competing for the Badgers is freshman Taylor Cataldi, sophomore Nastasya Semenvoski and Alina Mukhortova, junior Xinyu Cai, and seniors Ava Markham and Antonela Stoica. For the singles match, Cai is ranked 5th and Markham sits at 8th. Cataldi will also be competing in the women's singles match. Â
Cataldi and Semenvoski, along with Stoica and Mukhortova, will also be representing Wisconsin in the women's doubles bracket.

The Badgers travel to Alabama next week to compete at the Alabama Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Ala., which runs Oct. 29-30.
