MADISON, Wis. — The No. 21 Badgers head to Lincoln looking to get back in the win column with a game against Nebraska on Wednesday. Tip between the
Badgers and Huskers is set for 8:30 p.m. (CT) on Big Ten Network.

Wednesday marks the 34th meeting between Wisconsin and Nebraska (series began 1904). The Badgers have won 13 of the 17 meetings since the Huskers joined the Big Ten in 2011, going 6-2 in Lincoln.

THE STARTING FIVE

1) HOT AT THE RIGHT TIME: The Badgers have a trend of getting hot as the season unfolds. In fact, over the last three seasons, the Badgers are 17-5 in regular season games in February and March. Under head coach Greg Gard, UW has matched or surpassed its first-half Big Ten win total in all but one season

2) CORN HUSKERS: Wisconsin has won five straight over Nebraska, including a win earlier this season, 67-53, at the Kohl Center and a season sweep last season. In the two meetings last season, the Badgers went a combined 33-for-65 (.508) from 3-point range. Wisconsin set a school record with 18 made triples against Nebraska on Jan. 21, 2020.

3) BALANCED BADGERS: Wisconsin boasts one of the most balanced teams in the nation, ranking in the top-30 of both defensive (9th) and offensive (27th) efficiency according to KenPom.com. UW has the luxury of different players stepping up on different nights, as the Badgers have had a different player lead the team in scoring in each of the last eight games.

4) THE KEY'S IN THE 3s: Ranked fourth in the Big Ten this season shooting 36.5% from 3-point range, Wisconsin has won its last 17 games when hitting 10+ triples in a game (5-0 this season). UW is 7-1 this season when making nine or more 3-pointers in a game.

5) RESUME BUILDING: The Badgers are putting together one of nation's most impressive resumes this season. Wisconsin is 3-3 vs. AP Top-25 teams. UW also owns 8 Quad 1 & 2 wins according to the NET ranking. Only Alabama (11), Illinois (11), Gonzaga (10), Creighton (9) and Purdue (9) have more Quad 1/2 wins. Ranked #11 in KenPom, UW owns 7 wins
over top 50 teams in Ken Pom's rankings.
