Wisconsin cruises to 6-1 home win over Rutgers
MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin women's tennis team earned its third Big Ten win of the season in dominant fashion on Friday, cruising to a 6-1 win over Rutgers at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

The Badgers (4-4 overall, 3-3 Big Ten) jumped out to an early 1-0 lead by winning the doubles point. Charmaine Seah and Anna Makarova were the first pair to win their match, 6-1, over Alisa Prinyaux and Jaci Cochrane of Rutgers. Antonela Stoica and Ava Markham quickly followed to win their match, 6-3, clinching the point for the Badgers.

Cai brought home the second point of the day for Wisconsin, locking in a straight-sets win over Tess Fisher, 6-2, 6-1. Markham battled to clinch the third point for UW, winning a second-set tiebreak, 7-5, to win the match, 6-3, 7-6(7-5). Stoica earned the match-clinching point for Wisconsin on court 3, topping Alisa Prinyaux in a 6-0, 2-6, 6-3 final.
