CHICAGO -- The Wisconsin women's track team won three events at the Wisconsin Midwest Invitational at Gately Indoor Track on Saturday. The Badgers were up against Big Ten opponents, Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio State, and Purdue.
Stubler also placed third in the 300 meters, running a personal best of 38.97.
Junior Chloe Lindeman won the weight throw with a personal best toss of 68 feet, 10 inches, an improvement of more than a foot and still ranking fourth on the UW indoor performance list. She was accompanied by fellow Badgers Olivia Roberts and Chikere Oduocha, who both recorded personal best throws in the event. Roberts finished fourth with a toss of 66-10, an improvement of more than five feet, moving her up to fifth on the Badger performance list and ranking her seventh in the Big Ten. Oduocha took seventh at 57-0 1/4, an improvement of more than seven feet.
Redshirt senior Josie Schaefer placed second in the shot put, throwing 54-6 1/2, which ranks her fourth in the Big Ten this season. Lindeman finishes seventh in the shot put at 44-10 1/4.
In the mile, Peyton Sippy finished third in 4:50.31 while redshirt freshman Emma Watcke finished fourth in 4:51.55. Both times were personal bests. In the 3000 meters, Heidi Heuerman placed fourth in 9:53.65.
Senior Cailyn Biegalski took fourth in the 800 meters in 2:13.36, a personal best by over two seconds and ranking her 13th in the Big Ten. Freshman Kylie Finger placed 17th in the 800 in 2:17.01.
Five Badgers finished among the top-10 performers in the pole vault. Hailey Orlowski cleared 12-8 to place fourth and tying her for 11th in the Big Ten. Tia Dorshorst and Julia Moore both recorded clearances of 12-4, finishing fifth and seventh, respectively. Freshmen Lauren Bilau and Kenzi Kluge tied for ninth at 11-10.

Stubler scores in two events
Senior Bianca Stubler claimed her first win of the season, taking the 600 meters in 1 minute, 31.38 seconds. Her time ranks her third on the Big Ten performance list this season. Teammate Danielle Bellino finished fourth in the 600 meters, running a personal best of 1:32.30, which ranks eighth in the conference.Stubler also placed third in the 300 meters, running a personal best of 38.97.
Huven, Lindeman win events
Junior Destiny Huven added a win in the 60-meter hurdles to her resume. Huven won the event in 8.41. Pentathlete Mackenzie Heyroth finished fourth in the hurdles in 9.01, just .03 seconds off her personal best time.
