Box Score MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's tennis team got its spring season started at home with a win over Texas Christian University on Thursday, as the Badgers earned a 5-2 win over the Horned Frogs 5-2 at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
Standing out for the Badgers was senior
Ava Markham and sophomore
Alina Mukhortova, who each won their singles matches and also earned a win in doubles play.
Wisconsin nearly swept all singles matches, as Markham,
Antonela Stoica, Chamine Seah, and Mukhortova each earned wins for the Badgers. Doubles play was dominated by Mukhortova paired with
Xinyu Cai, who won their match, 6-1.
