MADISON, Wis.—The Wisconsin Badgers men's cross country travels to Stillwater, Oklahoma to compete at the 2022 NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday. The men's 10K race will begin at 10:10 a.m. CT.

Here are the five things to know:

1. WE'LL SEE YOU THERE: Last week at the 2022 NCAA Great Lakes Regionals the No.6 Wisconsin won their fourth meet of the season. The Badgers scored 50 points, 11 fewer than No. 13 Notre Dame, automatically qualifying for NCAA Championships. The Badgers are also coming off their 53rd Big Ten title three weeks ago and earned a top-10 finish at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational.

2. HONOREES: Evan Bishop, Jackson Sharp, Jack Meijer, Bob Liking, and Charlie Wheeler all earned all-region honors for their top- 25 finishes at NCAA Great Lakes. All six Badger men finished together to lead the program to their 32nd regional title. 

3. NOT THE FIRST RODEO: UW will make their 60th appearance at the NCAA Championships this Saturday, the most of any school in the country. UW has won five NCAA team titles with their last title coming in 2011 in Terrre Haute, Indiana. 

4. OUR COACH MICK: Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Mick Byrne has led his men's teams to 23 appearances at the NCAA cross country championships, including 13 during his time in Madison.
