MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin begins Big Ten Conference play Tuesday with a battle against No. 13 Maryland at the Kohl Center. Tip is set for 8 p.m. CT on ESPN2.

Before the Badgers host the Terps, here is the Starting Five:

1. I-94 RIVALRY ROAD WIN: In the 129th meeting between Wisconsin and Marquette, the Badgers came out on top with an 80-77 overtime win this past Saturday. Chucky Hepburn scored a game-high 19 points and added four rebounds. Tyler Wahl (15 pts), Max Klesmit (13 pts), and Connor Essegian (12 pts) also scored in double figures for UW. 

2. CHUCKY ON POINT: Sophomore point guard Chucky Hepburn led Wisconsin with 23 points at home last Tuesday against Wake Forest, a new career high for the sophomore guard. He then followed up with a 19-point performance (5-for-6 from 3FG) in UW's road win at Marquette on Saturday. Hepburn currently ranks second on the team averaging 12.5 points per game this season and shooting 47.5% (19-40) from three-point range. 

3. B1G SEASON: Entering Big Ten Conference play, Wisconsin currently sits as one of six teams in the league with a .750 win percentage or better. The Badgers have finished .500 or better in league play each of the last four seasons, including last season when they clinched a share of the Big Ten regular season title.

4. TERPS COME TO TOWN: No. 13 Maryland comes to Madison with an unbeaten 8-0 (1-0 Big Ten) record to start the season, most recently topping Illinois in College Park with a 71-66 victory. The Terps are led by Donta Scott who is averaging 15.4 points and six rebounds per game. Maryland is one of the better shooting teams, currently ranked second in the league making 49.3 percent of its shots from the floor, while holding opponents to 39.2 percent shooting this season.

5. STREAK STUFFERS: Maryland enters the game with a perfect 8-0 record. Since 2000, six teams have come to the Kohl Center with a mark of 8-0 or better. All but one have left with a loss. In fact, the Badgers have won their last five home games against teams with a record of 8-0 or better.
