Wisconsin falls to Oregon on the road

Three Badgers earn singles wins in 4-3 defeat

Box Score DENVER, Colo. – The Wisconsin women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the spring season, falling 4-3 against Oregon on Saturday at the Denver Tennis Park.
 
The Badgers started off with a win in doubles play, but the Ducks rallied in singles play with four wins to claim the dual match victory.
 
Xinyu Cai was the first Badger to clinch her singles match against Sophie Luescher. Freshman Taylor Cataldi shortly followed Cai with a win of her own, defeating Misaki Kobayashi, 7-5, 6-1.  Antonela Stoica earned UW's third singles win of the day, coming from behind to defeat Karin Young.
