Badgers head to Arizona for first conference match

Wisconsin will face Rutgers in neutral site
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's tennis team is set to play its first Big Ten match this week, facing Rutgers in Surprise, Arizona. The dual match is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday.
Wisconsin is coming off a busy weekend in Iowa, earning a 4-0 sweep over Drake on Saturday after a tight 4-3 loss against No. 26 Iowa State earlier in the day.
Alina Mukhortova and Xinyu Cai go into the matchup with a doubles ranking of No. 43 in the country coming off a 2-0 weekend. Their record has improved to 9-3 on the season.
Cai enters the match ranked No. 111 in singles play after defeating Drake's Ines Stephani on Saturday. Ava Markham is also looking to continue her winning streak, after going 2-0 in singles play last weekend.
