ATLANTA - In the first individual event of the meet, freshman
Paige McKenna went all out placing sixth in the 500 free. Her time of 4:37.35 puts her on the podium and makes her an All-American.
Phoebe Bacon also competed inn the finals for day two. She placed tenth in the 200 IM in 1:54.49.
The 200 relay team consisted of
Lillie Hosack,
Alana Palmer,
Phoebe Bacon and
Sophie Fiske. These four women finished 22nd in a time of 1:28.80.
The Badgers were deep in the 500 free and had three other qualifying swimmers compete in prelims.
Abby Carlson,
Elle Braun and
Emily Ecker placed 23rd, 38th and 57th respectively.Â
Mallory Jump and
Jenna Silvestri also competed in the 200 IM alongside Bacon. Jump placed 42nd and Silvestri took 45th.
Sophie Fiske was the lone competitor for the Badgers in the 50 free and took 39th place.
After the conclusion of seven events, the team sits in 14th place with 34 points.
