Badgers continue conference run at home

Wisconsin hosts Maryland on Thursday
MADISON, Wis. – The No. 50 Wisconsin women's tennis team continues conference play this weekend hosting Maryland for a dual match Thursday afternoon at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
The Badgers and Terps are scheduled to begin play Thursday at 4 p.m. CT. Live scoring will be available via UWBadgers.com.
Reigning Big Ten Athlete of the Week, Ava Markham, looks to continue her strong run at singles play. Since moving to the top singles position, Markham is 5-1 at Court 1 this season, with an overall record of 14-3. The senior is coming off an upset victory over Michigan's No. 11 Kari Miller on Sunday.
No. 52 doubles pair Xinyu Cai and Alina Mukhortova will also be back in action on Thursday, looking to improve their season record of 11-5.
The Badgers are currently 3-2 in conference play this season with wins over No. 68 Illinois, No. 70 Michigan State and Rutgers.
