
Badgers wrap up weekend in Oregon and Indiana

Robbins, Schaefer and Stubler earn wins in Oregon
EUGENE, Oregon — The Wisconsin women's track and field team wrapped up its weekend of competition at the Oregon Relays on Saturday. The Badgers won three events over the two-day meet.
Robbins claimed the 100 meters in 11.80 seconds and also finished fourth in the 200 meters in 24.68. Sophomore Taylor Gilling was the top UW finisher in the 200 meters, placing second in 24.45, and also finished third in the 100 meters in 12.08.
Stubler claimed the 400-meter hurdles in 1:00.37 while Schaefer won the shot put with a throw of 55 feet, 9 3/4 inches.
Robbins, Gilling, Armoni Brown and Destiny Huven combined to finish second in the 4x100-meter relay in 45.96 while in the 4x400-meter relay, Robbins, Gilling, Stubler and Ali Dorn placed third in 3:49.22. Stubler also placed third in the open 400 meters in 54.48 while Huven finished second in the 100-meter hurdles in 13.30.
Redshirt sophomore Shea Ruhly finished second in the invitational 5000 meters, crossing in 16:01.12, a personal best by 20 seconds. Her time ranks fifth in the Big Ten this season. Grad transfer Danielle Orie finished fourth in the 5,000 meters in 16:06.16, a personal best by nearly 23 seconds while Alexa Westley finished in 16:23.25 for sixth place.
Grad student Alissa Niggemann ran the fastest time in the Big Ten this season in the 3,000-meter invitational steeplechase. Her time of 9:50.98 also ranks seventh nationally. Redshirt senior Lucinda Crouch finished sixth in the steeplechase, improving her personal best time by 12 seconds. Her time of 10:05.06 ranks third all-time at Wisconsin and third in the Big Ten this season. Sophomore Peyton Sippy moved into the top 10 at Wisconsin in the steeplechase, finishing ninth in a personal best time of 10:31.37.
In the invitational 1,500 meters, junior Victoria Heiligenthal was the No. 2 collegian in the race, finishing fifth overall in 4:18.83. Her time is a personal best by nearly four seconds and ranks her eighth in the Big Ten this season. Redshirt freshman Emma Watcke ran a seven-second personal best, finishing sixth in 4:21.95.
Junior Danielle Bellino was the top finisher in the invitational 800 meters, crossing in 2:07.90 for fourth place. Heiligenthal took ninth in the 800 meters in 2:10.70.
Sophomore Chloe Lindeman finished fifth in the shot put with a throw of 48-9 while also finishing third in the hammer throw. She had a personal best toss of 195-7. Her mark ranks fifth in the Big Ten this season while keeping her third all time at Wisconsin.
Senior Hailey Orlowski recorded a season best of 12-8 1/4 to place third in the pole vault while junior Armoni Brown finished sixth in the long jump at 18-4 1/4.

Trio wins events
