Box Score MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's tennis team earned a dramatic, come-from-behind win over rival Minnesota on Saturday with a 4-3 victory at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
After losing the doubles point, the No. 47 Badgers (13-7, 5-2 Big Ten) rallied with four singles victories to claim a 4-3 dual match win over the No. 61 Gophers (14-8, 3-6 B1G).
Standing out for the Badgers was senior Antonela Stoica. Stoica clinched the win for UW after her set went into a 10-point tiebreaker. She defeated Minnesota's Ekin Ercetin 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7-5).
Charmaine Seah put the Badgers on the board with a singles win against Minnesota's Delila Said, 6-4, 6-3. She improved her conference record to 5-1.
Taylor Cataldi and Alina Mukhortova continued Wisconsin's momentum with wins in their singles sets as well.
