MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's basketball team suffered a 69-65 loss to Michigan State in a back-and-forth Big Ten battle at the Kohl Center on Tuesday night.
It was another impressive game for Steven Crowl who led the way offensively for the Badgers (11-4, 3-2 Big Ten) scoring in double figures for the seventh-straight game. The junior forward finished with a team-high 19 points, going 9-for-17 from field-goal range, while adding three rebounds.
Point guard Chucky Hepburn scored 14 points, adding five assists and two steals to the stats sheet.
Freshman guard Connor Essegian rounded out double-digit scorers for Wisconsin, finishing the night with 13 points off the bench, shooting 3-for-4 from 3-point range.
The Spartans (12-4, 4-1 B1G) were led by Joey Hauser who scored 20 points on the night.
UW was without leading scorer Tyler Wahl (injury) for the second-straight game.
Next up, Wisconsin travels to face Indiana on the road Saturday at noon on CBS.
