MADISON, Wis. – The No. 8 Wisconsin women's hockey team completed their weekend sweep of Minnesota State, 6-0, in front of the seventh-straight sellout crowd Sunday afternoon at LaBahn Arena. 

Lacey Eden, Claire Enright, Britta Curl, Caroline Harvey, Grace Shirley and Casey O'Brien each lit the lamp as the Badgers (18-7-1, 13-3-1-1-2-0 WCHA) completed the season sweep of the Mavericks (13-12-0, 7-11-0-0-1-0 WHCA). 

Eden gave the Badgers the early advantage with a score off the rebound. The forward has tallied a goal in three of the last four appearances. 

Enright doubled the lead, scoring her third of the season, before Curl extended it with her second of the weekend. 

Harvey added her eighth of the season on the power play to cap off the scoring in the second period for the Badgers as Cami Kronish earned her first career assist on the play. 

Shirley continued the fun with just over six minutes to go, while O'Brien scored a shorthanded  goal on the breakaway with six seconds to go.

Kronish stopped all 28 shots she faced for her sixth shutout of the season. 

Three Notes of the Game
- The Badgers outshot Minnesota State 40-28, including a 19-7 margin in the second period. 
- O'Brien netted her third shorthanded goal of the season, which is tied for the WCHA lead.  
- Kronish ended the weekend with 49 saves on 50 shot attempts, good for a .980 save percentage.

On sweeping the Mavericks:
"It felt great. Obviously things weren't really going our way in terms of scoring the past couple of weekends but I think we kind of came together as a group and worked as hard as we could to get the puck in the net. We knew it wasn't going to be easy but I'm really proud of the full team effort these past two games."

On how she played:
"I don't care about the numbers, I just think it was a great team effort. I didn't even think I had as many shots as the box score said, and my teammates make it easy for me and they always have my back and help me stop the puck."
