MADISON, Wis. -- Behind six event winners, the 12th-ranked Wisconsin women's swimming and diving team wrapped up a triangular meet with wins over No. 18 Michigan and Arizona at the Soderholm Family Aquatic Center on Saturday. The Badgers (3-0, 1-0 B1G) defeated the Wolverines, 216-137, and the Wildcats, 240-101.
Bacon wins two more events
Senior
Phoebe Bacon won a total of four individual events on the weekend after adding two more titles on Saturday. She won the 200 individual medley in 2 minutes, 0.57 seconds and the 100 back in an NCAA B qualifying time of 53.37.
In the IM, sophomore
Hazal Ozkan placed third in 2:03.30 while senior
Callahan Dunn was fifth in 2:04.35. In the back, senior
Kaylyn Schoof took fourth in 55.90 while freshman
Hailey Tierney was sixth in 56.04.
Carlson, Ozkan win events
Wisconsin claimed the top-two places in the 500 free as junior
Abby Carlson won the event in 4:48.23 while junior
Paige McKenna finished second in 4:52.05. Freshman
Maddie Waggoner also placed fourth in 4:52.26.
Sophomore
Hazal Ozkan continued her dominance in the breaststroke events, adding a 100-yard victory in 1:02.53 to her 200-yard victory on Friday. Junior
Katie McClintock placed fifth in 1:05.30 while Dunn took seventh in 1:05.68.
Relay sweep
Just like Friday, Wisconsin won both relays on Saturday. UW started out the day winning the 200 medley relay as the quartet of Bacon, Ozkan, Tierney and
Mackenzie McConagha touched in 1:39.64.
The Badgers ended the meet with a victory in the 400 free relay. The team of Tierney, Bacon, Carlson and
Blair Stoneburg won in 3:19.88.
Other top finishers
Wisconsin claimed three of the top-five places in the 100 free as Tierney took third in 49.90. Stoneburg touched in 50.44 for fourth while
Abby Wanezek finished fifth in 50.72.
UW also had two of the top-four finishers in the 200 butterfly. McConagha placed third in 2:00.73 while senior
Alivia Lindorfer took fourth in 2:12.11.

The Badgers have two weeks of training before traveling to Minneapolis for a dual against No. 24 Minnesota on Nov. 3. Events begin at 5 p.m. at the Jean Freeman Aquatic Center.
